Executive summary
Since its foundation in 2005, Reality Youth Project has been “Reaching out with the good news of Jesus to young people across Leicester (shire)”. Through our partnerships with churches, our work in schools and across local communities we have reached thousands of young people with the message of Jesus. God has done “immeasurably more that all we can ask or imagine”.
As more opportunities are opening up to work with more churches, more schools and more communities, we believe that God has so much more for us still to do and that the best is yet to come.
In our partnerships with Churches we are enabling churches to engage in dynamic and life changing evangelism and discipleship.
Our schools work is delivering inspiring assemblies, RE lessons, lunch time and after school activities.
As part of our exciting new initiative “Abundant Life” we are delivering courses to hundreds of young people in schools all over the city and county on:
-Anger Management
-Self Esteem
-Bereavement and Loss
-Sex and Relationships
Across our ncounter events we are working with churches, local authorities the Police and Fire services to see lives changed and communities transformed by loving and serving them as Jesus would.
This plan provides us with the opportunity to celebrate and to build on our past success but also to move onto bigger and better things and to see more young people reached with the good news of Jesus. With extra investment we believe we can see a generation here in Leicester(shire) won for Christ, built up in their faith and sent out to do the same. Come with us on this journey of Faith!
