What people think about the Abundant Life Courses..
Having the Reality Youth project lead self esteem courses has allowed the College to offer young people an opportunity to take part in focussed small groups where they can discuss issues in a safe environment with their peers and with supportive project workers. Having adults other than teachers facilitating this type of provision assists the College mentors and can assist young people refocus aspects of their behaviour, confidence and self image.

As a school we have used Reality to support us with students who have anger issues. The group they ran has been invaluable to the school and to the students. Those that ran the course were reliable and showed real empathy and understanding towards the young people. It has had a positive effect on our students.

Thank you so much for your fantastic contribution to the learning 2 Learn Day here at South Wigston High School and Arts College. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and were given a great deal to think about. It is really good for them to be challenged in this way.

We have used the ‘Virtual Babies’ with our COPE programme for several years. We have found them to be an invaluable tool in teaching young women about the realities of parenthood. Since using them with our students, early pregnancy rates have droped dramatically. Reality Youth Project have worked with us since last year and are a dedicated and hard working team who seem to really care about the work they do with young people. They deliver a programmer which helps the students to see their own self-worth and helps to buld cinfidence in making decisions about friendships and sexual relationships.
